Goal: A day workshop that combines participatory photography and urban exploration, focusing on heating island, in order to help participants observe and interpret climate challenges in their local area.
Format: The event combines two participatory and awareness-raising approaches: Photostory, a narrative technique derived from PhotoVoice that uses photography to document and interpret a place in a structured way, and the Climate Walk, a guided walk through an urban area during which the main environmental dynamics and local climate challenges are introduced.
Agenda: The workshop will take place in person and will be divided into two sessions, separated by a free lunch break (12:30–13:30).
The photographs and texts produced by participants will be compiled into a collective e-book and communication materials aimed at raising awareness among citizens and institutions about local climate issues.
Target audience: The activity is open to citizens, students, and anyone interested in exploring climate change through photography. No prior photography experience is required, and participants may use either smartphones or cameras.
English translation support will be available.
