How to participate

Whether you are an organization, institution, business, community group, or an individual passionate about sustainability, you can take part in Padova’s collective effort by organizing your own event.

Follow the steps below to participate:

Start by deciding what kind of activity you would like to organize. It can be a conference, workshop, exhibition, panel discussion, art installation, community activity, or any other format that promotes exchange, awareness, and concrete action.

When preparing your proposal, select up to two main themes, indicating one as primary and (if relevant) one as secondary:

  • Cities and Adaptation
  • Sustainable Mobility and Transport
  • Energy and Industrial Decarbonization
  • The Role of Civil Society

You will also be asked to choose one or more cross-cutting topics (e.g., Arts and Culture, Education and Awareness, Technology and Innovation, etc.) that best represent your event’s focus.

Before registering, decide the key practical details:

  • Format: in-person, hybrid, or virtual
  • Date and time (within 11–19 April 2026)
  • Location/venue (if in-person or hybrid)
  • Ticketing: whether your event will be free or paid

If your event is paid, please note that payments and ticketing are managed directly by the organizer, not by PCAW.

Please also note: PCAW does not take charge of finding venues, as our scope is to connect and amplify independent initiatives. However, we can support you by sharing a limited-availability list of venues that have offered rooms for the week.

Complete the online registration form (available on the PCAW website) and provide all required information, including:

  • Event title and short description
  • Selected theme(s) and cross-cutting topic(s)
  • Date, time, venue, and ticketing (free/paid)
  • Format (in-person, hybrid, or virtual)
  • Organizing entity and contact details

If you cannot register via the online form, you can register by downloading the PDF version and emailing it to info@padovaclimateactionweek.org with the subject line:
Event Registration Form – [Last name / Organization name]

Example: Event Registration Form – Istituto Tecnico X

Make sure your submission is received by: 31 marzo 2026.

After submission, the PCAW Organizing Team will review your proposal to ensure it aligns with PCAW’s themes, values, and overall vision. If approved, you will receive a confirmation email and your event will be published on the official PCAW webpage.

As the organizer, you remain responsible for logistics, costs, and operational aspects of your event. PCAW provides the shared framework, visibility, and communication support, but does not manage technical or logistical arrangements.

Once approved, your event will be promoted through the PCAW website and social media channels. You will also receive a communication toolkit (logos, templates, suggested messaging) to help you promote the event through your own networks.

From 11 to 19 April 2026, your initiative will contribute to a city-wide effort that turns ideas into action and strengthens Padova’s role as a hub for sustainability, creativity, and collaboration.
